Also... I think that 11th form is his original form. Everything from 11th form are all original for each person who learned the original 10. Pretty much similar like how Katekyo Hitman Reborn's Yamamoto's Shigure Soen Ryu is branching off differently by each generation passed down. So Tanjiro will eventually get his own original forms, like how he actually already did with his Fire version!
this will actually be explained later in the anime so it'll be cleared up soon because it was in the manga. but if you want the info not really a spoiler i guess? the 11th form is a form that tomioka made all in his own. and only the 10 forms of the water sword is taught to water wielders. and each type of swordsmen have a different element i guess? the highest of the demon slayers have each a different element they base their swordsmanship on.
This is exactly how to subvert expectations. We thought that he'd beat him alone, or at least with his sister's help, because he's the main character. This surprised us, and created a more realistic situation, where the newbie kid at the lowest rank doesn't somehow magically defeat the person who is max level. This way it makes sense, too.
I liked it happening both ways. Though I would have preferred it if Tanjiro had killed him with Nezuko's help. I thought it would have been the beginning of them learning to fight together and this episode would be them figuring it out. Although I guess that can still happen. I am excited however to see if Tanjiro gets a different kind of sword now.
My dude, don't worry. Tanjiro is as powerful or more than Giyu right now in the manga and the manga is about to finish as well. We are in the last stretch. We are at chapter chapter 42 in the anime and chapter 169 in the manga, so it won't take him long to get super powerful. (P.s no time skip bullshit. He legitimately figured things out how to get powerful)
doubt either of the hashiras will have a problem with Nezuko. Giyu already knows about it and Shinobu said she doesn't mind befriending demons who've "paid" for their killings... Nezuko hasn't killed anyone
This one has better soundtracks throughout the whole episode, while ep19 only focused on the last 5 minutes. Another reason could be my expectation cuz i suspected that this episode is gonna be a calm one after what happened in the previous one. Could also be the hype i built for it since i had to wait a week for it to be released (i watched episodes 1 to 19 in like a day). Its my opinion anyway
